At KIDSHA, our mission is to empower children to make a difference in their community through volunteerism. By providing opportunities and resources for kids to give back, we aim to foster a lifelong commitment to community service and civic responsibility, while helping local communities and developing the next generation of compassionate leaders.
KIDSHA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating volunteer opportunities for kids 5-18. We establish partnerships with local community service organizations, schools and businesses to create ways for our youth to give back.
We connect families to volunteer opportunities, which include cleaning up local parks, serving food at homeless organizations, providing care for animals, volunteering for senior events and supporting local arts and music nonprofits. Find the perfect volunteer opportunity for you.

"Community Service at Hollywood Schoolhouse has loved working with Annie and Kids Helping LA. Together we’ve partnered on the Runyon Canyon cleanup and helped donate Halloween costumes to other kids in need. We’re so grateful for their commitment to service, and we look forward to continuing our partnership." - A. Reyes

"I always wanted to give my son opportunities to volunteer, but had a hard time finding events that were safe and age appropriate. Kids Helping LA makes it easy for families to find volunteer experiences that are safe and fun. We have really enjoyed meeting new kids, working side by side with Rec and Parks employees, going some places we've never been before. We always come away with good vibes, new facts about our city and usually a donut!" - S. Poliquin
